GSG-8 Gen2 GNSS SIMULATOR
The GSG-8 Gen 2 GNSS Advanced Constellation Simulator
Powered by the comprehensive Skydel GNSS Simulation Software the GSG-8 delivers a high capability GNSS test system in a highly configurable, easy-to-use platform, at a fraction of the price of traditional systems.
The GSG-8 uses COTS hardware, the processing power of NVIDIA GPU’s combined with standard Software Defined Radio (SDR) eliminating the standard high cost, dedicated hardware solutions prevalent in traditional GNSS simulation systems.
The result is a flexible, easy to use platform, that is easily to upgrade as your testing needs develop.
No channel costs, users only pay for the hardware and capability licenses they need. A single NVIDIA GPU is capable of generating in excess of 200 satellite signals and, if more is required, additional GPU’s can be easily installed.
One SDR will cover all GNSS signals at a frequency. Signals are upper band (L1) or lower band (L2/L5). The SDR can also create Interference Signals with >110dB J/S.
As a PC, the system is pre-installed with Ubunto Linux or Windows 10.
In-built stable (after warm-up) TCXO, provides 1PPS and 10MHz clocks, available on the rear panel. Alternatively it can be locked to an external clock.
